How Funded Financial Network LLC collects, uses, and protects your information.
On This Page
Funded Financial Network LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal and financial information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our merchant funding platform, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what rights you have over it. By submitting an application or otherwise using our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
When you apply for funding or otherwise interact with our platform, we may collect:
- Identity information: full legal name, date of birth, Social Security Number (SSN), and government-issued ID details.
- Contact information: phone number, email address, home and business mailing addresses.
- Business information: legal business name, DBA, EIN/Tax ID, entity type, industry/category, time in business, and ownership structure.
- Financial information: FICO credit score, gross annual sales, bank statements, existing business debt, and requested funding amount.
- Application content: use of funds, product or service description, and any documents you upload or submit.
- Information entered into site tools: figures you type into calculators and estimators on this site — such as annual revenue, requested funding amount, factor rate and term — together with the results calculated from them, and any optional name, email or phone number you choose to provide alongside them.
We do not currently use cookies, analytics, or automated tracking technologies to collect your IP address, browser type, or browsing behavior. If that changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect the technical information collected and how it is used.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Evaluate and process your funding application, including underwriting and creditworthiness review.
- Submit your application to one or more third-party funders so they can assess and present funding offers.
- Verify your identity and the accuracy of the information you provide.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, identity theft, and other unlawful activity.
- Communicate with you about your application, account, or funding offers.
- Follow up with you about funding options based on information you entered into a tool or calculator on this site.
- Generate and store the application document you sign electronically.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and audit obligations.
- Improve our website and services.
3. Data Security & Encryption
We take the security of your information seriously. Sensitive identifiers — including your Social Security Number, date of birth, and FICO score — are encrypted before being stored in our database, using industry-standard encryption (Fernet/AES-based symmetric encryption). Data is transmitted between your browser and our servers over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access to stored application data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems that require it to perform underwriting, funding, or support functions.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to maintain industry-appropriate safeguards.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your application data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including underwriting, funding, regulatory recordkeeping, and dispute resolution. Typically, this means we retain submitted application records for the duration of any active or prospective funding relationship, plus a period thereafter as required by applicable financial recordkeeping regulations. You may request earlier deletion of your data as described below, subject to our legal and contractual retention obligations.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal/contractual exceptions (e.g., active applications or funding agreements, fraud prevention, or recordkeeping requirements).
- Opt out of certain uses of your information, such as marketing communications.
- Request a copy of the information you provided to us in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information at the bottom of this page. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
6. Sharing Your Information
We share your information only as necessary to operate our platform, including with:
- Funding partners ("funders"): to evaluate your application and present funding offers. Funders make their own independent decisions regarding your application.
- Payment processors and financial service providers: to facilitate underwriting checks, identity verification, and funding disbursement.
- E-signature and document service providers: to securely capture your electronic signature on application and funding documents.
- Email and notification service providers: to deliver application confirmations, status updates, and communications related to your inquiry.
- Service providers and contractors who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., hosting, database, and security services), under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and regulatory authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
7. Compliance With Privacy Laws
We aim to comply with applicable data protection laws, including, where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and, for individuals located in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Depending on your jurisdiction, this may include additional rights such as the right to know what categories of information we collect and disclose, the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you believe specific regulations apply to your situation, please contact us so we can assist you accordingly.
